This effect can be avoided by proper nutrition and regular exercise. A regular fitness routine combined with a well balanced diet will improve the appearance and health of your skin.

Skin Lotions and Moisturizers

Helping the skin retain moisture is key to good skin care. Moisturizer keep moisture in the skin, they do not add moisture to the skin. You need to drink enough water to provide the internal moisture your skin needs that moisturizers can then help to lock in. Moisturizers can be extremely effective, especially in dry climates. The winter months in many regions can be particularly dry, and moisturizer can be very important during this season. Did you know that Vaseline is a moisturizer? It is actually one of the most effective because it provides a moisture proof barrier on the surface of the skin. Many tattoo shop recommend its application on new ink. In general, the more greasy or oily the moisturizer, the more effective it can be. This is a good time to consider using a moisturizer; it is easily to apply a moisturizer at night before you go to bed. If your skin is dry, or you live in a very dry climate, consider using moisturizers as part of you skin care routine.
